Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor Ravn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orton comes to the cage accompanied by Voices. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orton tries to clinch up but Ravn circles away and keeps his distance.
Ravn tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Orton counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Orton.
Ravn keeping moving, preventing Orton from controlling successfully.
Ravn wants to get back to his feet but Orton passes into half guard.
Ravn is trying to stand back up but Orton is controlling him
Orton slips a nice elbow through Ravn's hands, connecting with Ravn's forehead.
Orton content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Ravn is staying active underneath Orton, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Orton is nestled in close to Ravn, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Orton is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ravn defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Orton wants to stand up but Ravn has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ravn has one foot on Orton's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Ravn tries to clinch but Orton moves away

and Orton counters by moving into the clinch.

Orton is breathing heavily.
Ravn is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

It looks like Randy Orton has been cut.
Ravn connects with a nasty looking knee right to Orton's face.

Ravn has hold of one of Orton's legs. Orton is fighting the takedown attempt but Ravn gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Orton tries to pull guard but Ravn holds him up against the cage and eventually Orton drops back down to his feet.

Orton is trying to break the clinch but Ravn is controlling him.
Orton drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ravn pulls his leg out and moves away.

and Orton counters by clinching up.
A right hook to the body lands for Ravn.
Ravn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ravn connects with a knee to the head.
Orton jumps guard but Ravn stands there with Orton around his waist. Orton gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Orton has a couple of punches blocked by Ravn.
Orton wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Ravn is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ravn lands a body shot.
Ravn tries a knee to the head but Orton blocks it.
Ravn is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Orton is defending well for now.

Ravn wants to clinch.
Orton lands a two punch combo.
Orton tries for a takedown but Ravn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Ravn lands a head kick that stumbles Orton and the fighters go to the mat.

Orton is rocked!

Ravn stands and steps away. Orton gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Oh Orton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ravn darts in and clinches Orton up against the cage.
Ravn working the clinch nicely. Orton is working for position but Ravn cracks him with a big knee to the head! Orton crumples up against the cage and Ravn lands two more shots before the ref can save Orton! This one is all over!
