Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Varg Larsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Eller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Varg Larsen could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Johnny Eller's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Varg Larsen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Eller! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Larsen wants to land a leg kick but Eller is out of range. A combination from Eller does no damage. Eller darts in and clinches Larsen up against the cage. Larsen connects with a knee to the head.
Larsen works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Eller tries to break the clinch but Larsen is controlling the position. Eller jumps guard but Larsen stands there with Eller around his waist. Eller gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Larsen misses with a punch to the body.
Eller wants to get back to striking at distance but Larsen won't allow it.
Larsen has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Eller avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Larsen throws an elbow that misses.
A right hand to the body from Larsen.
Eller tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Larsen just stands there and leans against the cage. Eller is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Larsen lands a knee to the body.
Larsen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Eller tries to clinch but Larsen is having none of it. Nice sprawl there from Larsen as Eller shoots in. Varg Larsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Eller. Eller looks gassed! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Eller crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Larsen - the referee stops the clock and Eller gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Larsen. Eller manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Larsen wants to clinch up but Eller keeps it at a distance. Larsen throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. This has been an exciting period of action! Eller feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Larsen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eller wants to stand but Larsen is controlling his posture from full guard. Larsen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Larsen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Larsen trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Larsen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Eller's guard. Larsen trying to control but Eller is working from the bottom. Larsen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Eller is looking for a triangle but Larsen pushes his legs off easily.
Larsen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Eller keeping moving, preventing Larsen from controlling successfully. Larsen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Eller gets back to half guard. Eller tries to roll over but Larsen keeps him under control. Eller is trying to stand up here but Larsen is controlling him well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eller is holding on to half guard well. Larsen is keen to just control but Eller is a slippery customer. Eller striking from half guard on the bottom. Larsen is thwarting Eller's attempts to control the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Eller looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A head kick misses from Larsen. Eller gets a takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Larsen is trying to control but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Larsen trying to control but Eller postures up.

Eller is thwarting Larsen's attempts to control the position. Larsen wants to get back to his feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Eller fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Larsen sprawls well initially but Eller persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Eller wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Larsen manages to get to full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Varg Larsen will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Eller throws and low kick but Larsen moves out of range easily. Larsen tries to clinch but Eller moves out of range. Larsen clinches up against the cage. Larsen wants a takedown.
Larsen tightens his grip and picks Eller up, before dumping him to the ground. Eller manages to land in guard. Eller looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Eller avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Larsen trying to control the position from guard on top but Eller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Larsen stands and throws Eller's legs to the side, diving into side control. Eller is looking for a sweep. Larsen content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eller is not content to let Larsen control the position. Eller is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Eller is trying to control Larsen's posture but Larsen avoids it. Eller parries the strikes from Larsen easily there. Larsen is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Eller to escape.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Eller creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Larsen is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Eller's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Larsen keeping control of the position. Larsen trying to control but Eller postures up.

Eller is rocked! Varg Larsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Larsen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Eller is still on wobbly legs! Can Larsen finish him? Eller avoids a kick to the body.
Eller seems to have recovered his senses. Larsen tries to clinch but Eller moves away and Eller counters with a single leg into guard. Larsen didn't expect that. Larsen controls Eller momentarily but Eller frees himself. Eller looking to pass the guard. Eller pushing down on Larsen's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Larsen gets back to full guard.

Eller stands up and beckons Larsen to his feet. Larsen tries to clinch up and Eller counters with a leg kick. Larsen clinches but Eller breaks the clinch and Eller counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Larsen looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Eller pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Larsen is keeping the position for now. Larsen not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Johnny Eller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Larsen checks a leg kick nicely. Larsen is looking to clinch but Eller is avoiding it.
Eller shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Eller must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Eller stands up from guard. Let's bang! A low kick from Larsen misses and Eller counters by clinching up. Larsen scores with a shot to the side of Eller's head. Larsen is stalling here.
Eller has Larsen pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Larsen manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Larsen wants a takedown.
Larsen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Larsen stuffs the takedown attempt from Eller. Eller gets slowly back to his feet. Larsen lands a high kick to the side of Eller's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Larsen dives into guard, looking to finish. Larsen trying to control the position from guard on top but Eller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Eller is looking to stand up but Larsen isn't so interested in that idea. Larsen loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Larsen being controlled for a moment. Eller works to advance to full mount. Larsen defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Larsen is looking to get to half guard. Larsen is working hard here to advance position. Eller with good strikes from the mount here! Larsen is desperately trying to improve his position but Eller has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Eller wants to control the pace but Larsen is squirming around nicely. Larsen tries to reverse the position but Eller maintains control. Larsen bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Larsen wants to control from the top but Eller keeps moving. Eller is pulling down on Larsen's head to control his posture. Eller keeping moving, preventing Larsen from controlling successfully. Larsen won't allow Eller to get back to his feet. Eller pulls Larsen in close to his closed guard and prevents Larsen from doing any damage or advancing position. Eller wants to sweep here but Larsen controlling him for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Varg Larsen. I think Larsen has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
