The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Dean Styles and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Snapple defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Brooks.
Manningham Snapple seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Snapple throws a series of punches but Brooks avoids them all with ease.
Brooks shoots in looking for a takedown. Snapple tries to sprawl out of it but Brooks keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Snapple manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Brooks tries to close the distance and clinch but Snapple swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Brooks throws a head kick that misses.
Brooks fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Manningham Snapple has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddie Brooks.
Snapple avoids a punch combination nicely.
Oooh a lovely combination from Snapple sends Brooks down but not out. Snapple dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Eddie Brooks has been cut.
Snapple thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Brooks is refusing to be controlled, as Snapple sits in half guard.
Brooks is trying to get back to full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Brooks drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Brooks fails in his attempt to clinch.
Snapple throws a body punch but Brooks moves out of range.
Manningham Snapple is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Brooks moves out of range of the body kick from Snapple.
Snapple lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Brooks throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Snapple throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brooks throws a predictable looking body shot
and Snapple counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Snapple ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Brooks shoots in but no luck this time.
Snapple stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Snapple throws a shot to the body.

Snapple throws a sloppy head kick and Brooks moves out of range easily.
Snapple throws the kick towards the body but Brooks avoids it.
Brooks seems to have recovered his senses.
Brooks looks to land a combination but Snapple avoids it well.
Decent striking displayed by Snapple there.
That has opened up Eddie Brooks's cut even more.
