Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Chapman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Cardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Chapman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Cardy! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chapman moves out of range as Cardy throws a body kick.
Chapman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chapman wants it to stay on the feet. Chapman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cardy, pushing him back against the cage. Cardy has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Chapman avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Cardy tries to break the clinch but Chapman is controlling the position. Chapman lands a body shot in the clinch.

Chapman drags the fight down to the ground.
Cardy trying to control the position from guard on top but Chapman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chapman looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Cardy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cardy pushes down on Chapman's leg and manages to get into half guard. Cardy works his way into full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Chapman tries to get back to half guard but can't. Cardy looking to control but Chapman is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Chapman can't escape the position.
Cardy wants to take Chapman's back here but Chapman is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Chapman regains half guard. It looks like Cardy is going to stand back up.
Cardy looks gassed! Chapman moves into full guard.
Chapman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Chapman doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Chapman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cardy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Chapman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cardy's guard. Chapman loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Chapman looking to pass the guard. Chapman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Chapman is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cardy is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cardy has escaped and now he's on top! Chapman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cardy defends well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chapman striking off his back but it's not causing Cardy any problems. Chapman keeping moving, preventing Cardy from controlling successfully. Chapman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Chapman is working for a submission of some sort.
Chapman is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cardy sees it coming and defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Cardy wants to get back to his feet.
Chapman is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Cardy has managed to free his arm - good work. Chapman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Chapman sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Cardy defending well though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Chapman dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Cardy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Cardy gets caught flat footed, as Chapman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Cardy is looking for a triangle but Chapman pushes his legs off easily.
Chapman postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Chapman lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Chapman drops back looking for a leg! Cardy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cardy manages to kick Chapman off! Chapman jumps back into Cardy's guard. Cardy tries to land a sweep but no joy. Chapman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chapman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Cardy is breathing heavily. Chapman is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cardy is looking for a triangle but Chapman pushes his legs off easily.
Chapman lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Chapman drops back looking for a leg! Cardy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cardy manages to kick Chapman off! Chapman jumps back into Cardy's guard. Chapman looking to pass the guard. Chapman in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Cardy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Chapman preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Chapman scoring with some ground and pound. Chapman pushes down on Cardy's leg and manages to get into half guard. Chapman seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Cardy is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Chris Chapman!
