Penn swinging wilding here.
Penn looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Penn swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Penn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
deRobinet misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
deRobinet pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Penn looks to land a combination but deRobinet avoids it well.
Penn drives through with a takedown into guard.
Penn is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
deRobinet is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Penn is controlling him.
Penn will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Penn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Broyeur deRobinet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
deRobinet throws a sloppy head kick and Penn moves out of range easily.
Penn throws a series of punches but deRobinet moves out of range.
Penn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but deRobinet moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Penn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Penn misses with a low kick.
deRobinet checks a leg kick nicely.
deRobinet leaves Penn with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Penn throws a head kick that half lands.
Penn takes a kick to the side of the head.
Penn throws a right and a left that both miss.
deRobinet lands a big head kick that sends Penn tumbling to the mat! deRobinet takes a step backwards and waves Penn back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Penn is rocked!
It looks like DJ Penn has been cut.
deRobinet connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Penn to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by deRobinet!
