The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korsto swings for the body but Thomas moves out of range.
Korsto closes this distance looking for a takedown but Thomas circles away.

That was a close round but I would say that Kari Korsto will probably get the nod.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Thomas creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Korsto sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
