The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Rossinelli or perhaps it was just good defense by Stathis which made him look bad.
Rossinelli misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rossinelli misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Stathis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rossinelli circles away quickly and effectively.
Rossinelli missing with a left hand there. Stathis was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Stathis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Paul Rossinelli has been cut.

and Stathis counters with a nice right hand that sends Rossinelli toppling to the canvas! Rossinelli scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Stathis finish him?!

Rossinelli is trying desperately to land a takedown but Stathis is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Rossinelli.

and Stathis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That has opened up Paul Rossinelli's cut even more.

Stathis just misses with a punch to the body.
Stathis misses with the combination.
Stathis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Rossinelli looks to land a right hand but Stathis moved out of range.

letting Stathis counter with a right hand.

and Stathis counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Stathis counters with a left and a right... And another left! Rossinelli is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
