Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adam Saburo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Radek Olczyk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam Saburo looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adam Saburo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Radek Olczyk!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saburo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Saburo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Saburo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Olczyk circles away.

Olczyk closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Olczyk lands in his opponent's guard.

Olczyk stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Olczyk scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Olczyk lands with a punch from half guard.

Olczyk stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Olczyk decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Still in half guard, Olczyk seems content to control.
Olczyk tries to pass the half guard into mount. Saburo knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Olczyk takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Saburo throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Olczyk slows the pace down in half guard.
Let's hope that Olczyk has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Olczyk escapes and gets back to his feet.
Olczyk fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Saburo manages to avoid it.

Olczyk drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Olczyk wants to lay and pray for a moment but Saburo keeps working.
Saburo is pushing Olczyk's head away, looking to escape. Olczyk manages to hold on to the position though.

Olczyk decides to stand back up. Olczyk steps back and let's Saburo get back to his feet.
Olczyk has his takedown stuffed

and Saburo moves into the clinch.

Saburo pulls guard effortlessly.
Olczyk advances position into side control!
Olczyk taking a break here but Saburo is having none of it and regains half guard.

Saburo is trying to maintain the position but Olczyk is very close to passing his half guard.
Olczyk passes to full mount!
Saburo is working to get back to half guard.
Saburo wants to try and get back to his feet.
Olczyk postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Saburo looks a forlorn figure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Radek Olczyk dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Saburo gets caught flat footed, as Olczyk shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Olczyk stands and steps away. Saburo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Olczyk tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Saburo counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Saburo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Olczyk tries to clinch up but Saburo circles away and keeps his distance.

Olczyk not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Saburo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Olczyk is controlling him.

Olczyk works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Saburo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Olczyk is working away from the top position though.
Olczyk seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Olczyk postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Saburo to stand up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Saburo throws a series of punches but Olczyk avoids them all with ease.
Adam Saburo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saburo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Olczyk counters with a nice double leg into side control. Saburo won't be happy with that.
Saburo is looking to reverse the position.
Saburo is working hard here to advance position.
Saburo is trying to get back to his feet.
Saburo tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Olczyk takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
A nice elbow there by Olczyk.

Saburo wants to try and get back to his feet.
Saburo looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Saburo can't escape the position.
Olczyk tries to keep control of the position but Saburo is staying busy.

Olczyk is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Saburo has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
I would not like to be Saburo right now.

Olczyk looking to break Saburo's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Saburo remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Olczyk will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Olczyk scores with punches and elbows.
Saburo is trapped and Olczyk is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Olczyk lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Saburo.
Olczyk is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Saburo trying to get back to his feet but Olczyk is in full control for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Radek Olczyk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Saburo looking to sit in guard and control but Olczyk gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Olczyk looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Saburo wants to control the position but Olczyk says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Saburo is looking for a sweep. Olczyk is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Olczyk working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Olczyk not doing much here.
Olczyk moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Saburo.
Radek Olczyk has got the better of the ground game so far.

Olczyk stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Olczyk changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Saburo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Saburo is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Olczyk asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Olczyk decides to stand up, so the ref orders Saburo to his feet.

Olczyk fails with an attempt to clinch.
Saburo fails with the takedown

and Olczyk decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Saburo's guard.
Saburo is looking to stand up but Olczyk isn't so interested in that idea.

Olczyk gets to his feet. Saburo looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Olczyk fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Saburo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Olczyk closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Saburo did well to prevent Olczyk getting side control.
Saburo wants to get back to his feet.

Saburo trying to hold on to Olczyk's head to control him but Olczyk postures up.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Olczyk lands a nice short elbow.
Saburo wants to control but Olczyk is keeping busy.
Well, if Olczyk is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Saburo is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Olczyk jumps into side control!

And that's the end of the fight!
Radek Olczyk comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Olczyk winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
