7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Saint Peter! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! London misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Peter throws a shot from downtown. London moves away and avoids it. London closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Peter to the mat! Peter manages to get full guard. Peter keeping full guard, as London tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. London drops back looking for a leg! Peter is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Peter manages to kick London off! London jumps back into Peter's guard. Peter has momentary wrist control but London slips an elbow through the middle. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Peter can do anything to dispel that myth. London controls the pace of the fight for a moment. London throwing strikes from guard but Peter blocks nicely. London in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Peter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with London. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. London throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Peter is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. London stops Peter from standing up. London thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Peter looking to control.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Peter loads up on a big right hand but London slips the punch. London misses with a takedown attempt - Peter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. An inside leg kick lands from Peter.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Peter misses the shot to the body. Peter misses with an uppercut. London saw that one coming. Peter feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to London's calf. Peter misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from London.

Saint Peter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. London walks into a stiff left hand from Peter. Peter throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. London takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. London circles away from the clinch attempt.

Peter lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Peter throws an uppercut from half a mile away. London sees it coming and avoids it easily. London slips under a jab from Peter. London shoots in for a takedown but Peter shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack London. That's going to take a lot out of him. London fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Peter lands with a straight right. London didn't see that one coming. London slips under a jab. Saint Peter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Peter throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Peter throws a looping overhand right but London ducks down to avoid it. A shot to de liver by Peter. Beautiful body shot. Peter attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Peter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peter doesn't manage to clinch there - London circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Peter lands with a cross. London darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Peter is trying to stand back up but London is controlling him
London winds up and cracks Peter with a swinging punch to the side of the head. London thows a huge punch but Peter dodges it nicely.
London prevents Peter from improving his position. London thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Saint Peter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

London fails with the takedown. Peter tries to clinch up but London circles away and keeps his distance. Peter gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows London to score an easy takedown into full guard. London is looking to work some ground and pound but Peter has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. London trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Peter can't keep his opponent in guard - London advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. London sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Peter defending well though. London is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Peter wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. London seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. London throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Ground and pound from London. London missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Peter tries to roll over but London keeps him under control. Peter is defending against the submission attempts here by London.
That's two minutes gone in the round. London uses his free foot to push down on Peter's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Peter. Peter can't escape the position.

London is landing with some decent strikes but Peter is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. London putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! BOOM! London connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Peter is rocked! Peter takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. The referee warns Peter that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
