Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guy Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guy Blake has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Guy Blake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Alan Kong! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kong throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Blake was covering up waiting for the punch and Kong finishes the takedown easily into guard. Kong must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kong trying to control the position from guard on top but Blake is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Blake manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kong manages to get himself to full guard.
Blake slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Blake trying to control but Kong is working from the bottom. Blake throws a big right hand that misses. Kong looking to hit a scissor sweep but Blake is one step ahead there. Kong avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Blake stands up from Kong's guard - Blake perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kong tries to clinch up. Blake lands a nice looking body kick. Blake throws a head kick but Kong moves out of range.

Kong jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Blake walks away with a smile on his face. Kong gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Blake connects with the punch. Blake misses with a takedown attempt and Kong counters by clinching up. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Guy Blake. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kong is trying to trip Blake. He has hold of a leg but Blake is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kong persists though and gets the takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kong tries to stand but Blake is controlling from the bottom. Kong looks gassed! Blake is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kong should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Blake wants to take a breather but Kong is having none of it. Blake stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Blake doesn't manage to clinch there - Kong circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kong gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Blake to score an easy takedown into full guard. Kong looking to hit a scissor sweep but Blake is one step ahead there. Blake looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Blake stopping the sweep attempt from Kong. That's four minutes gone in the round. Kong keeping moving, preventing Blake from controlling successfully. Blake seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Kong is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Blake decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Blake trying to control the pace. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kong can do anything to dispel that myth. Blake moves nicely into side control. Blake slows the pace down.

You can see the frustration on Kong's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alan Kong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Blake's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Blake is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Kong is forced to tap! Great finish!
