Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pursey paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pursey circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pursey shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well.
Jones closes the distance and pushes Pursey back into the cage.
Pursey tries to score a body lock takedown but Jones shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Jones tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Pursey goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jones prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darren Pursey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The referee is keeping an eye on Jones - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Jones ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jones no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Pursey is trying to control. Jones wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
