Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andreas Karlsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orlando Rumple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andreas Karlsson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Orlando Rumple! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rumple dives in and grabs Karlsson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Karlsson pushes down on Rumple's head and hops out. Rumple shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Karlsson is trying to defend but Rumple finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Rumple wants to pass the guard but Karlsson is defending well. Rumple sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Karlsson defending well though. Rumple is looking to take a break and control but Karlsson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Karlsson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Karlsson tries to get out of the position. Karlsson wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rumple seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Rumple is looking for a kimura but Karlsson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rumple to get the leverage. Rumple seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Karlsson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rumple is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A punch combination from Karlsson misses. Andreas Karlsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rumple misses with a leg kick. Rumple shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Karlsson pinned against the cage. Karlsson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Karlsson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Karlsson misses with a wild body shot. Nice straight punches there by Karlsson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Karlsson. Rumple shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Karlsson defends it nicely. Andreas Karlsson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Orlando Rumple. Karlsson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Karlsson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Karlsson lunges at Rumple with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Rumple's hand. Karlsson keeps the fight on the outside. Karlsson misses with a few strikes there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karlsson works over Rumple's head and body with a nice combination. Rumple looks gassed! Karlsson works the jab nicely. Nice jab there from Karlsson. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rumple shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Karlsson as he avoids it easily. Karlsson jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Karlsson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rumple. Karlsson lands a left and a right that send Rumple crashing to the mat, dazed. Karlsson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Rumple is rocked!
It looks like Orlando Rumple has been cut. Karlsson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Karlsson with a nice cross. Karlsson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rumple has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Karlsson finds it's way round the side to connect with Rumple's head. Karlsson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Karlsson cracks Rumple with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Rumple is looking to clinch but Karlsson is avoiding it.
Karlsson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Rumple walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Rumple showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Karlsson.
Karlsson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Karlsson lands an overhand right. Andreas Karlsson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Karlsson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Karlsson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Rumple misses with a series of wild punches.
The fighters circle momentarily. Karlsson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. A jab from Karlsson finds it's way through Rumple's defenses. The crowd cheers as Karlsson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rumple doesn't seem phased though. Karlsson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rumple counters with a stiff right hand. Rumple swinging wilding here.
Rumple is looking to take this fight into the clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A right-left combo lands from Karlsson. Karlsson throws a nice looking combination but Rumple bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rumple moves into range and clinches up with Karlsson. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andreas Karlsson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Orlando Rumple's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rumple tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nice straight punches there by Karlsson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Karlsson. Rumple is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Karlsson. Karlsson fails to land with a series of punches.

Rumple's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Karlsson throws a combination that misses and Rumple counters with a single leg into guard. Karlsson didn't expect that. Rumple thows a big elbow that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rumple thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rumple stays in close to Karlsson's body and controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Karlsson keeping moving, preventing Rumple from controlling successfully. Rumple sitting in guard here, content to control. Rumple looking to pass the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Orlando Rumple showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Orlando Rumple's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Rumple closes the distance and clinches. Rumple tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Karlsson just stands there and leans against the cage. Rumple fails to pull guard.

Horrible takedown by Rumple or perhaps it was just good defense by Karlsson which made him look bad. Andreas Karlsson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Orlando Rumple. Karlsson throws a combination. Rumple tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Karlsson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rumple moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Karlsson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Karlsson throws a right and a left that both miss. Karlsson is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rumple wants to clinch.

Karlsson throws an overhand right that lands on Rumple's shoulder, as Rumple tries to avoid the shot. Karlsson misses the body punch and Rumple counters with a nice double leg into side control. Karlsson won't be happy with that. Rumple has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Rumple wants to clinch. Rumple shoots in and drives through. Karlsson sprawls well. Karlsson missing with a left hand there. Rumple was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Rumple will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Karlsson throws a shot from downtown. Rumple moves away and avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rumple is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Karlsson. Rumple shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Rumple is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Karlsson is just riding it out for now. Rumple eventually gives up the hold. Rumple decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karlsson throws a hook but Rumple avoids it easily. Rumple wants to clinch. Karlsson avoids the head kick by Rumple.
Rumple looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. A combination from Karlsson does no damage. Rumple throws a head kick but Karlsson moves out of range.
Rumple throws a sloppy head kick and Karlsson moves out of range easily. Andreas Karlsson is winning the standup battle so far. Karlsson throws a right hand that Rumple ducks under and follows up with a left that Rumple also avoids with ease. Rumple shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Karlsson napping and manages to drive through into side control! Rumple stands up and we're back to a striking position. Rumple tries to score a power double leg takedown but Karlsson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rumple somewhat. Rumple shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Rumple throwing strikes here but Karlsson is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Rumple is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Karlsson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
And that's the end of the fight! Orlando Rumple comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Rumple has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
