The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez swinging wilding here.
Sanchez misses with a double jab.
Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Uchiha swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A combination from Sanchez does no damage.
Sanchez misses with a wild combination.
Uchiha will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

It looks like Itachi Uchiha has been cut.

Sanchez is trying to trip Uchiha. He has hold of a leg but Uchiha is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Sanchez persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Uchiha fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sanchez sprawls well initially but Uchiha persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Uchiha shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Uchiha was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Sanchez wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Uchiha.
You get the feeling that Sanchez really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Uchiha tries to control but Sanchez wriggling away.

Sanchez could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sanchez is looking to improve his position but Uchiha isn't that keen on the idea.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Uchiha is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Sanchez has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Itachi Uchiha showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Sanchez throws a right and a left that both miss.
No luck for Uchiha with that takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Uchiha is defended easily by Sanchez.
Sanchez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Uchiha looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Sanchez!
Sanchez wants to hold on but Uchiha pushes him away.
Uchiha is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Sanchez to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Sanchez shrugs it off.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Uchiha is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sanchez can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Uchiha thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Uchiha goes for an armbar but Sanchez turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Sanchez.
Uchiha working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sanchez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sanchez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Uchiha has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Sanchez doesn't defend quickly enough and Uchiha has managed to lock this one up! Can Sanchez escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Uchiha on a fantastic submission victory.
