Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Isaac Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Isaac Charles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Jenkins! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Bruno Lombardi and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jenkins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Charles tries to avoid it but Jenkins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Charles to the ground. Charles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Charles shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Charles showed some decent athleticism there. Jenkins is refusing to be controlled, as Charles sits in half guard. Charles not landing any meaningful shots this time. Charles not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Charles escapes and gets back to his feet. Charles tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jenkins swats him away and circles back towards the center. Charles pushes Jenkins up against the cage in a clinch. A nice glancing elbow lands by Charles. Charles's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Jenkins avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Jenkins is trying to drag Charles to the mat but Charles just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Jenkins is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Charles gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Isaac Charles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Jenkins. Jenkins looks gassed! Charles goes for a takedown attempt but Jenkins pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Charles tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Jenkins decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Charles's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jenkins working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Charles's head. Charles is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Charles wants to stand but Jenkins is controlling the position. Charles is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jenkins preventing the sweep. Jenkins drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jenkins jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Charles shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Charles was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Charles looking to control but Jenkins is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Charles controlling from the full mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Charles gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Charles shoots and misses and Jenkins counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Charles's guard now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Charles wants to sweep but no luck. Charles is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Jenkins pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Charles is keeping the position for now. Charles looking for a sweep. Not yet Charles, not yet. Charles has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Jenkins has passed into side control.
Charles is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Jenkins is controlling him well. Charles stops Jenkins from passing to mount. Jenkins tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Chris Jenkins will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jenkins doesn't succeed with the takedown and Charles counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Charles gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Charles scores a takedown into full mount! Charles lands with some strikes. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Charles cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Charles lands a big shot there that rocks Jenkins but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Charles postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jenkins looks a forlorn figure.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Charles fails to take his opponent's back. Charles is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jenkins has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jenkins! Jenkins trying to control the position from guard on top but Charles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jenkins throws and elbow that misses. Charles uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jenkins's guard. Nice move by Charles!

Charles is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jenkins is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jenkins has escaped and now he's on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Charles throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jenkins lands a couple of elbows. Charles looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jenkins is one step ahead there. Jenkins postures up and lands a big shot to Charles's brow. Jenkins thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Isaac Charles dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Charles on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Charles tries to get out of the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jenkins with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jenkins lands a couple of decent looking shots. Charles is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Charles wants to stand but Jenkins is controlling the position. Jenkins stopping the sweep attempt from Charles.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Charles moves in looking to clinch but Jenkins pushes him off. Jenkins pushes Charles up against the cage in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Charles stops a takedown attempt from Jenkins.
Charles tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jenkins smiles and moves away.
Charles wants to clinch and Jenkins counters with a single leg into guard. Charles didn't expect that. Jenkins working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Charles is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jenkins is aware though and is defending well. Charles keeping moving, preventing Jenkins from controlling successfully. Jenkins trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Charles wants to stand up but Jenkins is controlling him. Chris Jenkins has got the better of the ground game so far. Jenkins trying to control the position from guard on top but Charles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jenkins working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Charles instigates a clinch. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Charles is trying to break free. Charles changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jenkins fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Isaac Charles. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jenkins scores with a takedown into Charles's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Charles not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jenkins avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Charles looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jenkins is one step ahead there. Jenkins is working Charles over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Jenkins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jenkins has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
