The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vekkiotsamo lands a head kick!
Turisas on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Vekkiotsamo. Vekkiotsamo obviously looking to wear him down.
Turisas lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Turisas.
Vekkiotsamo lands with an uppercut that bounces Turisas off the cage and back into rage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vekkiotsamo lands a left and a right that send Turisas crashing to the mat, dazed. Vekkiotsamo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Turisas is rocked!
Vekkiotsamo scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Turisas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Turisas is breathing heavily.
Turisas takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Turisas seems to have got his legs back now.
Vekkiotsamo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Turisas manages to avoid it.
Vekkiotsamo fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Turisas to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Turisas looks to clinch but Vekkiotsamo throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Turisas taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
