Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pao Ling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Plumpman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ling comes to the cage accompanied by Jay Chou - General/Checkmate. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ling takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Plumpman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Plumpman misses with a two punch combination.
Ling throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Plumpman with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ling to score with a decent uppercut.
Plumpman walks into a straight right hand from Ling.
Pao Ling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ling throws a right hand that Plumpman ducks under and follows up with a left that Plumpman also avoids with ease.
Plumpman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ling circles away quickly and effectively.
Plumpman misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ling ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Plumpman swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ling counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ling fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ling tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Plumpman was well out of range. Poor timing from Ling.
Plumpman throws a combination that misses
letting Ling counter with a right hand.
Some wild striking there from Plumpman.
Plumpman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ling moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Plumpman slips under a jab from Ling.

Ling moves into the clinch.
Ling lands with a short head shot on the inside.

A short body shot lands from Ling as the two fighters clinch.
Ling lands a left hand that snaps the head of Plumpman backwards.
Ling lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Ling has Plumpman pressed against the cage.

Ling's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Ling lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Plumpman or not.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ling takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Ling has Plumpman pressed against the cage, preventing Plumpman from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Ling.
Ling pushes Plumpman back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Ling lands with a left to the head.
Ling is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Pao Ling.
Ling lands a head shot.
Ling stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A looping hook to the body misses from Plumpman. Ling does a little dance to reset his feet.
Plumpman misses with a straight right.

Ling rushes Plumpman and presses him up against the cage.
Ling is pushing Plumpman up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
A frustrated look appears on Plumpman's face as he tries to break the clinch.
The referee calls for Ling to work.

Ling scores with an uppercut up the middle.
A nice left hand lands by Ling.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ling creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Plumpman is rocked!
Ling lands a big right hand that drops Plumpman! The killer instinct kicks in and Ling finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Ling!
