Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alberta Wrecking Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georges St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). St Pierre has chosen Hypnogaja- The March as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alberta Wrecking Machine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Georges St Pierre! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Machine is defended easily by St Pierre. St Pierre looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Machine keeping full guard, as St Pierre tries to pass. Machine is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Machine keeping moving, preventing St Pierre from controlling successfully. Machine not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
St Pierre trying to control but Machine is working from the bottom. St Pierre advances position into side control! Machine prevents St Pierre from improving position.
That's one minute gone in the round. St Pierre advances to mount. Machine tries to lock up and control but St Pierre gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Machine gets back to half guard. Machine wants to control but St Pierre is keeping busy and won't allow it. St Pierre slows the pace down in half guard. Machine is looking to control St Pierre's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Machine avoid being mounted? St Pierre is looking to advance position but Machine won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. St Pierre prevents Machine from improving his position. St Pierre is looking to take a break and control but Machine is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. St Pierre is thwarting Machine's attempts to control the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. St Pierre shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Machine has control of St Pierre's left arm, preventing St Pierre from doing any damage. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Machine has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Machine wants to free his trapped foot but St Pierre is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Machine is sneakily working for an arm triangle but St Pierre sees it coming and defends easily. St Pierre is looking for a sweep. Machine is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Machine seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Machine thows a huge punch but St Pierre dodges it nicely.
Machine seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but St Pierre does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Machine sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Machine has his takedown stuffed and St Pierre counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Georges St Pierre dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Machine tries to score a power double leg takedown but St Pierre sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Machine somewhat. Machine moves into range and clinches up with St Pierre. St Pierre manages to break the clinch.
St Pierre defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Machine. Machine misses with a takedown and St Pierre counters with a nice double leg into guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alberta Wrecking Machine. That's going to take a lot out of him. St Pierre trying to control but Machine is working from the bottom. St Pierre looking to pass the guard. Machine can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as St Pierre controls the pace. St Pierre is breathing heavily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Machine has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Machine's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Alberta Wrecking Machine just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Machine tries for a takedown but St Pierre circles away easily so St Pierre counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Machine is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Machine looking for a sweep. Not yet Machine, not yet. St Pierre won't allow Machine to get back to his feet. St Pierre stopping the sweep attempt from Machine.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Machine holds on and takes a little breather. St Pierre advances to half guard. Machine keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Machine slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Machine looking for a sweep. Not yet Machine, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Machine manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Machine content just to control the position here. Machine with a couple of short strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Georges St Pierre will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Machine bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in St Pierre's guard. St Pierre takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. There's a bit of a scramble here and now St Pierre is on top in guard.

St Pierre is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Machine couldn't care less - he's delighted!
