Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shelby Redrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Olyanek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Olyanek has chosen oy, to ne vecher as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olyanek has a takedown stuffed.
Olyanek dodges the punch combination from Redrock.
Olyanek tries for a takedown but Redrock sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Redrock misses with a double jab.
Olyanek avoids a punch combination nicely.

Redrock decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Redrock thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Olyanek tries to roll over but Redrock keeps him under control.
The fighters are battling for position here. Olyanek manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Redrock wants to get up but he can't break Olyanek's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Olyanek is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Olyanek tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Redrock tries to free his leg and advance position but Olyanek is retaining full guard.
Olyanek can't keep his opponent in guard - Redrock advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Olyanek is trying to get back to full guard.

Redrock looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Olyanek with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Redrock not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The fighters are battling for position here. Olyanek manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Redrock is breathing heavily.
Redrock throws a strike but Olyanek rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Olyanek thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Olyanek wants to pass the guard but Redrock is keeping the position.
Redrock looking to control.
Redrock looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Olyanek trying to control the position from guard on top but Redrock is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Redrock escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Olyanek gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Olyanek moves into range and clinches up with Redrock.

Redrock prevents Olyanek from breaking the clinch.
The referee calls for Redrock to work.
Redrock stalling in the clinch but Olyanek improves position.
Come on Redrock - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Redrock lands a left hand.
Redrock lands an uppercut.
Redrock tries to break the clinch but Olyanek is controlling the position.

Redrock breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Redrock moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Redrock closes this distance looking for a takedown but Olyanek circles away.
Olyanek throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Redrock counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Olyanek is working an open guard so Redrock takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Redrock lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Decent striking displayed by Redrock there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Olyanek slips a jab and a cross from Redrock.
Sergei Olyanek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Olyanek fails with the takedown
and Redrock counters with a three punch combo that has Olyanek backing up. Olyanek nods at Redrock to acknowledge the strikes.
Shelby Redrock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergei Olyanek.

and Redrock counters with a single leg into guard. Olyanek didn't expect that.

Redrock postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Redrock in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Olyanek manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Redrock is squirming around, avoiding Olyanek's attempts to control the action.
Redrock tries to reverse the position but Olyanek maintains control.
Olyanek moves to the back position.

Olyanek is looking for the choke from the back position but Redrock is controlling his hands well.
Olyanek has Redrock flattened out and is raining down punches.
A lull in the action here.

Olyanek has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Redrock is defending well but eventually Olyanek manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Redrock has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sergei Olyanek!
