Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dick Hickman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denis Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dick Hickman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Denis Kang! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kang throws out a loose jab but Hickman uses good head movement to avoid it. Hickman lands a big head kick that sends Kang tumbling to the mat! Hickman takes a step backwards and waves Kang back to his feet - he wants the finish! A looping hook to the body misses from Kang. Hickman does a little dance to reset his feet. Hickman throws a series of punches but Kang moves out of range. Hickman takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Kang throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Kang just misses with a punch to the body.
Hickman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kang trying to control the position from guard on top but Hickman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hickman keeping full guard, as Kang tries to pass. Kang drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hickman dives on top into guard. Hickman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hickman is looking to stand up but Kang won't let him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kang looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Hickman passes into half guard.
It looks like Hickman is going to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hickman trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Hickman stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hickman fails in his attempt to clinch. Hickman cracks the inside of Kang's front leg. Hickman pushing out the jab but it's not landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dick Hickman dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kang throws a body punch but Hickman moves out of range. Hickman takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hickman is looking to clinch. Kang ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hickman moves away. A looping hook to the body misses from Kang. Hickman does a little dance to reset his feet. Hickman fails in his attempt to clinch. Hickman lands a nice looking body shot.
Kang goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Hickman throws a head kick that misses. Hickman slips a jab and a cross from Kang.
Kang lands with a right hand. Kang will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kang swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hickman misses with the combination.
Hickman fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hickman tries to clinch but Kang is having none of it. Hickman lands a nice shot to the body.
Kang connects with a looping right hand.
A jab from Hickman does it's job there. Hickman misses with a shot to the body and Kang counters with a straight right hand. Hickman throws out a leg kick but Kang moves out of range and Hickman only half commits. Hickman swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kang counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hickman looks to land a combination but Kang avoids it well. Hickman tries to clinch and Kang counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Dick Hickman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hickman lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kang's sensitive parts. Kang is breathing heavily. Hickman throws a right hand that Kang ducks under and follows up with a left that Kang also avoids with ease. Hickman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Hickman pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kang is out of range and Hickman settles back down. Kang throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hickman on the side of the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kang avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Hickman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hickman throws a head kick but Kang moves out of range.
A cross from Kang lands. Kang with a lazy takedown attempt and Hickman counters with a nice leg kick. Hickman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hickman fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kang is out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kang tries to bum rush Hickman with a series of wild strikes but Hickman uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hickman moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Kang has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kang there as he acknowledges the shot. Dick Hickman is winning the standup battle so far. Hickman throws a sloppy head kick and Kang moves out of range easily. Hickman paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Kang ducks right into an uppercut from Hickman. Kang thuds a left hand into Hickman's body. Hickman closes the distance but Kang moves to the side and Hickman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A chopping leg kick lands by Hickman. Hickman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hickman.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hickman lands with a shot to the body. Hickman is looking to clinch. An inside leg kick lands from Hickman. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hickman ducks under a wild hook from Kang. Some wild striking there from Hickman.
Kang moves out of range of the body kick. Hickman throws a combination that misses and Kang counters with a left to the body. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kang throws a sloppy head kick and Hickman counters with a stiff right hand. Kang tries to land a leg kick but Hickman saw it coming and moves away.
Hickman stuffs the takedown attempt from Kang. Kang gets slowly back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dick Hickman dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Hickman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kang. Hickman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hickman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kang was well out of range. Poor timing from Hickman. Hickman swings for the body but Kang moves out of range.
Hickman shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Kang lands a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kang scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hickman in his tracks. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kang misses with a few strikes there.

and Kang counters with a shoot takedown. Hickman fights it but they end up in guard. Kang wants to control from the top but Hickman keeps moving. Hickman wants to stand up but Kang is controlling him. Kang trying to control the position from guard on top but Hickman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kang stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hickman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kang passes Hickman's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Kang prevents Hickman from standing back up.
Kang thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hickman's head. Kang seems to be working for a kimura but Hickman defends the submission attempt. Hickman is refusing to be controlled, as Kang sits in half guard. Hickman tries to kick Kang off but Kang keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kang wants to control but Hickman is keeping him busy. Hickman pushes Kang off looking to stand but Kang dives back in and keeps control.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Hickman throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kang decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hickman's guard. Hickman keeping full guard, as Kang tries to pass. Denis Kang has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hickman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kang is controlling him. Hickman keeping full guard, as Kang tries to pass. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Kang trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kang wants to pass the guard but Hickman is keeping the position. Kang is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Hickman on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hickman tries to get out of the position. Kang trying to control but Hickman is working from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hickman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kang circles away quickly and effectively. Hickman throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
And that's the end of the fight! Denis Kang comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hickman has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
