Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Tobin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samson Ojeni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Samson Ojeni will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tobin scores with a punch to the head. A swing and a miss from Tobin. Ojeni misses with a two punch combination.
Tobin throws a shot from downtown. Ojeni moves away and avoids it. Tobin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Tobin lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Tobin throws a jab when Ojeni was well out of range. Tobin misses with an uppercut. Tobin misses with a combination
and Ojeni counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ojeni misses with a wild body shot. Tobin ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Ojeni ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Ojeni keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tobin with a hook. Tobin with a nice cross. Tobin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ojeni counters with a nice uppercut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tobin throws a wild body kick that Ojeni sees coming a mile off. Ojeni uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tobin. Tobin scores with a one two! Ojeni had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Ojeni walks into a jab. Tobin throws a big shot that misses. James Tobin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ojeni takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Ojeni fails with a takedown attempt. Tobin throws a jab but it's blocked by Ojeni. Tobin staying out of range there. James Tobin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ojeni scores with a nice strike. Ojeni uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tobin. Tobin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ojeni on the side of the head. Tobin throws a jab but it's blocked by Ojeni. Ojeni moves away from the strike by Tobin. Ojeni takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Tobin scores with a jab to the body. Tobin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ojeni.
A slow jab from Tobin misses its intended target. Tobin lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Tobin. Ojeni has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tobin finds it's way round the side to connect with Ojeni's head. Ojeni takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Ojeni takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Ojeni throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tobin's waist but Tobin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ojeni off to one side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ojeni avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Tobin throws a series of strikes that have Ojeni backpedaling.
This has been an exciting period of action! Tobin lands a body shot.
Tobin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ojeni throws out the jab. Ojeni shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ojeni showed some decent athleticism there. Tobin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ojeni is working away from the top position though. Ojeni prevents Tobin from improving his position. Well, if Ojeni is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Tobin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tobin tries to get out of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tobin trying to get back to full guard but Ojeni takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Ojeni looking to control but Tobin is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Tobin looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Ojeni has the hooks in. Tobin is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Tobin is keeping busy.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Tobin is in bad spot here.
Ojeni not allowing Tobin to control his hands. Tobin controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Tobin preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Ojeni. Ojeni looks gassed! Ojeni has the hooks in. Tobin is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tobin just trying to survive but Ojeni is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Tobin tries to escape but Ojeni has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Tobin trying to control the position but Ojeni manages to sink in the hooks. Tobin is in bad spot here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that James Tobin will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Tobin bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ojeni's head. Tobin defending well as Ojeni loads up on a big left hand. Ojeni walks into a left hand. Ojeni throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tobin. Tobin cracks Ojeni with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Tobin lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Ojeni shoots for a takedown but Tobin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Tobin scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ojeni in his tracks. Jab by Tobin. Ojeni avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Samson Ojeni is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tobin pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Ojeni dodges the punch combination from Tobin.
Ojeni is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Tobin. Ojeni checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Nice shot lands for Tobin.

Tobin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ojeni looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Tobin goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Ojeni uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tobin. Tobin ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Ojeni misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ojeni is breathing heavily. Ojeni drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Tobin scores with a jab to the head.

Ojeni is rocked! Tobin grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Ojeni takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Tobin cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
