Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Skullz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Schuit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin Schuit will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Skullz ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Martin Schuit! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schuit goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Schuit closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Skullz did well to prevent Schuit getting side control. Schuit wants to lay and pray for a moment but Skullz keeps working. Skullz throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Schuit content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Skullz works his way to full guard. Good work. Skullz can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Schuit controls the pace. Skullz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Skullz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Schuit wants to control from the top but Skullz keeps moving. Skullz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Schuit can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Schuit trying to control but Skullz is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Schuit is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Schuit showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Skullz keeping moving, preventing Schuit from controlling successfully. Schuit drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Skullz manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Schuit has Skullz in his guard. Schuit is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Schuit seems keen to control Skullz 's posture. Skullz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Schuit swivels though and keeps the full guard. Skullz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Skullz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skullz trying to control but Schuit is working from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Skullz postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Schuit is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Skullz , into his guard. Skullz throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Schuit keeping moving, preventing Skullz from controlling successfully. Skullz is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Schuit is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Schuit working a defensive guard here.

Martin Schuit dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Skullz misses with a takedown attempt and Schuit counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Schuit wants to pass the guard but Skullz is keeping the position. Skullz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Schuit tries to free his leg and advance position but Skullz is retaining full guard. Skullz looking to control.
Skullz tries to land a sweep but no joy. Schuit is stalling in the full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Schuit wants to control from the top but Skullz keeps moving. Schuit drops back, looking for a kneebar! Skullz looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Skullz looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Skullz ! Skullz throws an elbow but Schuit slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skullz trying to control the position but Schuit is working away. Schuit can't do much from the bottom here. Skullz tries for a kimura but Schuit is defending well. Skullz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Schuit keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Skullz tries to move to mount but Schuit blocks the move with his legs. Skullz takes a little break here. Schuit wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. You can see the frustration on Schuit's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Schuit fails with the takedown and Skullz counters with a shoot takedown. Schuit fights it but they end up in guard. Skullz postures up.
Schuit pulls Skullz in close to prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skullz throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Schuit works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Schuit is pulling down on Skullz 's head. It's preventing any offense from Skullz , at least for the moment. Skullz wants to pass the guard but Schuit is keeping the position. Skullz is working hard here to advance position. Skullz trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Schuit manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Schuit trying to control the position from guard on top but Skullz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Schuit stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Skullz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Skullz has his feet on Schuit's thighs here. He's pushed Schuit off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Schuit screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
