Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Adkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Royce Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Scott Adkins! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adkins is looking to clinch. Adkins misses with the combination.
Gracie will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Adkins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Adkins clinches. Adkins has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Gracie gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Adkins.
Adkins pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Adkins falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gracie counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Adkins dodges the punch combination from Gracie.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie throws a sloppy head kick and Adkins moves out of range easily. Adkins fails in his attempt to clinch. Gracie takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Adkins tries to clinch there but Gracie circles away.
Adkins throws a right and a left that Gracie avoids nicely. Gracie closes the distance and pushes Adkins back into the cage. Adkins tries to score a body lock takedown but Gracie shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Adkins has clasped his hands together around Gracie's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Adkins working the ground and pound. Gracie wants to control but Adkins postures up. Adkins taking a breather here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Adkins passes into side control, despite Gracie's attempt to control the position.
Gracie is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Adkins wants to stand but Gracie is controlling his arm.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adkins stands up and we're back to a striking position. Adkins shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gracie but Gracie pushes him off and we're back to square one. Royce Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Adkins. Adkins thows a leg kick but Gracie checks it and Gracie counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Adkins looks gassed! Adkins forces Gracie back against the cage and clinches. Gracie decides to pull guard. Gracie is trying to keep Adkins in close.
Gracie wants to sweep here but Adkins controlling him for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Adkins from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie trying to control the position.
Gracie is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Adkins is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Adkins stands and steps away. Gracie gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Scott Adkins dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Adkins listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Gracie looks for a takedown but Adkins sprawls well. Adkins throws a right hand that Gracie ducks under and follows up with a left that Gracie also avoids with ease. Nice sprawl there from Gracie as Adkins shoots in. Adkins throws a body punch but Gracie moves out of range. Adkins wants to clinch. Adkins misses with a takedown attempt - Gracie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Adkins throws the left hand but Gracie avoids the punch easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adkins misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Royce Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Adkins. Adkins is breathing heavily. Gracie circles away from the clinch attempt.
Adkins scores with a kick to the body.
Gracie swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gracie lands a nice looking body shot.
Gracie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Adkins. Gracie has Adkins up against the cage in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adkins is struggling to control the position. Adkins is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Adkins is trying to break free. Gracie drags the fight down to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Adkins trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Adkins content to stall in guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adkins pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gracie is keeping the position for now. Adkins is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Adkins drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gracie looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gracie looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gracie! Gracie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Adkins knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Gracie is staying tight to Adkins's torso, preventing him from escaping. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Royce Gracie dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Adkins wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie trying to control but Adkins is working from the bottom. Gracie postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gracie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Gracie thows a big elbow that misses. Gracie won't allow Adkins to sweep him here. Adkins takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch but Adkins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Adkins misses with a takedown and Gracie counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Adkins tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Royce Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Adkins. Gracie jumps guard but Adkins stands there with Gracie around his waist. Gracie gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Gracie fails to pull the fight into his guard.
With the fighters up against the cage, Adkins throws an elbow but misses. Gracie fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Gracie jumps into guard, dragging Adkins to the mat.
Adkins sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gracie's guard. Adkins is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gracie doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Adkins. Adkins controlling the action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie is refusing to be controlled, as Adkins sits in half guard. Adkins is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gracie defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Adkins lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Adkins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gracie keeps working. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gracie wants to get back to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Scott Adkins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Adkins has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
