Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Palacios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palacios kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Enter Sandman - Metallica. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oscar Palacios! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Miller! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palacios misses with a head kick.
Palacios throws a series of punches but Miller moves out of range. Miller has Palacios up against the ropes in a clinch.
Palacios breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Miller looks to score with a jab to the body but Palacios is just out of range. Palacios throws a series of punches but Miller moves out of range. Palacios throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Palacios looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Palacios gets caught flat footed, as Miller shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Palacios keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. Miller lands a couple of elbows. Miller scoring with punches to the head and body. Palacios preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Palacios is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Miller is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Miller trying to control but Palacios is working from the bottom. Miller slips nicely into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Miller in particular looking to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Miller is working for a kimura but Palacios is defending it quite comfortably.
Palacios keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Miller performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Miller throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Miller thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Palacios's head. Miller not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Miller scores a takedown into full mount! Palacios really wants to buck Miller off and get back to his feet. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller looking to ground and pound but Palacios is blocking nicely. Miller can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Palacios is looking to escape. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Miller thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Miller thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Palacios is bucking up trying to escape but Miller cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Palacios is trying to stand up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Miller dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
A combination from Palacios does no damage. Miller darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Miller thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Miller looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Palacios with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Miller throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Palacios is refusing to be controlled, as Miller sits in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller stands up and beckons Palacios to join him on the feet. Miller lands with a nice combination. Palacios backs away looking to recover. Palacios swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Miller counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Miller. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Palacios keeping full guard, as Miller tries to pass. Palacios keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. Miller prevents Palacios from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Palacios utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Miller is looking to work some ground and pound but Palacios has wrist control. Palacios wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Miller manages to pass to side control. Miller is trying to control. Palacios wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Miller performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Palacios falls off balance throwing a combination
and Miller counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller wants to pass to mount but Palacios is defending the position. Miller stands up out of the half guard. Excellent takedown into side control there by Miller. The strikes coming from Miller are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Miller takes a little break here. Palacios wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Miller throws a strike aimed at the side of Palacios's head but Palacios avoids it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Miller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Palacios keeps working. Miller throwing strikes but Palacios manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Miller is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Miller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Miller counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Palacios's guard now. Miller loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Jason Miller has got the better of the ground game so far. Miller passes into half guard. Palacios looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Palacios won't allow Miller to sweep him here. Miller trying to keep a closed guard but Palacios is proving a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Palacios gets to his feet. Miller looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Miller gets a clinch. Oscar Palacios has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Palacios is looking to break free of the clinch but Miller has double underhooks. Miller breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller throwing shots but Palacios is blocking nicely. Miller lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Jason Miller is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Miller thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Palacios's head. Miller takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Miller not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Miller closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Palacios did well to prevent Miller getting side control. Miller has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Palacios wants to try and get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Miller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Miller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
