Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Powers has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Benn is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Powers is trying to trip Benn. He has hold of a leg but Benn is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Powers persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Powers drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Benn dives on top into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Benn wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Powers, who protects the arm well.
