Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robby Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hyonjo Gua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hyonjo Gua looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robby Ray! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hyonjo Gua! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gua tries to clinch there but Ray circles away.
Ray misses with the combination.
Gua changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ray tries to avoid it but Gua manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ray to the ground. Ray escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ray drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gua tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ray connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Gua some visible discomfort.
Gua is not content to let Ray control the position. Ray stands up and beckons Gua to his feet. Ray closes the distance and clinches up with Gua, looking for a takedown. Ray pushes Gua against the cage but Gua circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Gua is looking to clinch. Ray fails to land the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ray shoots in and drives through. Gua sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robby Ray. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ray with a lazy takedown attempt and Gua counters with a big head kick but Ray shrugs it off. Ray could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Gua throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ray shoots in but Gua avoids the takedown attempt easily. Ray is breathing heavily. Ray has closed the distance and engaged Gua in a clinch.
Gua tries to break the clinch but Ray is controlling the position. Ray decides to pull guard. Gua postures up.
Gua won't allow Ray to sweep him here. Gua trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ray's guard. Ray looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gua is one step ahead there. Ray wants to hit a switch here but Gua passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Ray there!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gua tries to control but Ray wriggling away. Gua working the ground and pound effectively.
Gua trying to control but he's not successful this time. Gua wants to finish this one by submission but Ray is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gua. Ray working to try and regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ray is in a horrible position here. Gua smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Gua controlling from mount. Gua avoids the attempt from Ray to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ray tries to reverse the position but Gua maintains control. Ray tries to hold on but Gua pushes him away. Gua breaks from Ray's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ray tries to lock up and control but Gua gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Gua goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Ray is on top in guard.

Hyonjo Gua dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
No joy there for Ray, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ray drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gua is not content to let Ray control the position. Ray just content to control the position. Ray wants to control but Gua is keeping him busy. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Robby Ray just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Gua pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gua lands with a slapping head kick. Ray fails to land with a series of punches.
Ray gets a takedown into half guard. Ray lands strikes from half guard. Ray is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Gua still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Gua has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Gua decides to stand back up. Gua steps back and let's Ray get back to his feet. Ray drives through with a takedown into guard. Ray knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gua on the ground. Ray trying to control but Gua is working from the bottom. Ray is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gua is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ray is looking to advance position but Gua has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Gua with shots to the head and body - Ray looks very uncomfortable down there.
Ray is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gua can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ray is looking to escape. Ray is trying to escape the mount.
Gua working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Ray working to try and regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gua trying to control but he's not successful this time. Ray is looking to get to half guard. Gua trying to control but Ray is having none of it. Ray on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ray tries to get out of the position. Ray tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gua unloading with bombs!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ray tries to hold on but Gua postures up. Gua jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Ray manages to avoid the submission attempt. Ray is trying to get back to half guard. Gua trying to control the action but Ray is working from the bottom. Gua working away. Ray tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Gua presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Hyonjo Gua will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Gua tries to buck Ray off but he can't manage it. Gua takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Gua tries to reverse the position but Ray maintains control. Ray trying to control but Gua is having none of it. Ray is really struggling to control Gua but he's trying to hold on to the position. Gua tries to buck Ray off but he can't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ray is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Gua misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A left and a right from Gua both land. Nice combination. Gua throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Ray stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Gua follows into mount! Oh Ray is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Ray is trying to stand. Ray is trying to escape the mount.
Gua lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Ray seems to have got his legs back now. Ray tries to lock up and control but Gua gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gua wants to control the pace but Ray is squirming around nicely. Ray swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Ray tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gua tries to control but Ray wriggling away. Ray wants to control but Gua is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ray is working to get back to half guard.

Gua throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Hyonjo Gua. I've got Gua winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
