Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rickety Cricket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wing Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cricket is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cricket looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Zero fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cricket manages to avoid it.
Zero swats away the attempt to clinch by Cricket.
Zero takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Cricket avoids the body shot from Zero.
Cricket with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cricket ducks under a wild hook from Zero.
Cricket moves in looking to clinch but Zero pushes him off.
Cricket tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zero swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Zero lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cricket!

Let's hope that Zero has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Rickety Cricket dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Wing Zero's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Cricket tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Zero ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cricket moves away.
Cricket pushes Zero up against the cage in a clinch.
Zero wants to break free but Cricket has control.
Zero takes an elbow to the temple.

Zero ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Zero no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Zero not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Zero advances to half guard.
Cricket is looking to control Zero's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cricket avoid being mounted?

Cricket pushes Zero off but Zero dives into side control.

Wing Zero showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Cricket moves in looking to clinch but Zero pushes him off.
Zero tries to clinch up but Cricket circles away and keeps his distance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Zero throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zero tries to clinch but Cricket moves out of range.
Zero tries to close the distance and clinch but Cricket swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cricket tries to clinch but Zero is having none of it.
Zero dives in and grabs Cricket's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cricket pushes down on Zero's head and hops out.
Zero tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cricket swivels and escapes.
Rickety Cricket has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wing Zero.
Cricket darts in trying to clinch
and Zero counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Cricket working for a triangle but Zero defends it easily.

Zero content to stall in guard here.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Zero avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Zero is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

I would just about give that final round to Wing Zero.
I think Zero has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
