Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Garfunkel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krystian Olszewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Olszewski has chosen You are the best as his entrance music. Simon Garfunkel looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Simon Garfunkel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Krystian Olszewski!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garfunkel shoots in looking for a takedown. Olszewski tries to sprawl out of it but Garfunkel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Olszewski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Garfunkel looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Garfunkel closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Olszewski did well to prevent Garfunkel getting side control.
Olszewski is not content to let Garfunkel control the position.
Olszewski is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Garfunkel's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Garfunkel's back!
Garfunkel could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Olszewski wants to control but Garfunkel is keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Olszewski has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Garfunkel has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Olszewski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Garfunkel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Garfunkel takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Olszewski wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Garfunkel seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Olszewski for as long as he can get away with.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Garfunkel, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
