The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Oliveira drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Oliveira jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Oliveira passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Li frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Li wants to control the pace but Oliveira is squirming around nicely.
Oliveira might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Oliveira wants to control from the top but Li keeps moving.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Oliveira accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Oliveira wants to control from the top but Li keeps moving.
Oliveira is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Li is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Li lands an upkick as Oliveira stands over him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Li drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Li decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Li decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Li controlling the positon.
Li wants to control but Oliveira is keeping busy.
Li is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Oliveira knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Oliveira for a finish.
Li slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Li is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Oliveira is tapping out! This one is all over!
