Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between leeroy barker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jason miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, leeroy barker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, jason miller!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to de liver by miller. Beautiful body shot.
barker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as miller sprawls well. miller wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. barker gets slowly back to his feet.

miller takes the fight into the clinch.

barker pulls guard successfully.
miller passes barker's left leg - he's now in half guard.
barker trying to hold on to miller's head to control him but miller postures up.

miller is sneakily working for an arm triangle but barker sees it coming and defends easily.

miller is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. barker doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time miller.

barker is looking to control miller's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can barker avoid being mounted?

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

barker is looking for a sweep. miller is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
barker has hold of miller's hands but miller slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

miller is trying to work for a kimura but barker is defending well.
barker tries to kick miller off but miller keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
miller not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
barker is looking to escape.
miller is looking to take a break and control but barker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
miller is looking to stall here but barker recovers full guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
miller slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if miller can do anything to dispel that myth.

miller drops back, looking for a kneebar! barker looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. barker looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from barker!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and miller counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in barker's guard now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

miller gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

barker bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in miller's guard.

barker is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

jason miller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!



miller changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. barker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The strikes coming from miller are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
miller content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

miller goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, barker rolls with the submission and now he's on top in miller's guard! Nice work there by barker!
barker tries to stand but miller is controlling from the bottom.

miller takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

barker avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
barker is looking to stand up but miller won't let him.

barker stands up and we're back to a striking position.
barker tries for a takedown but miller circles away easily

and miller counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by miller.
miller keeps control of barker as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

barker tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
barker trying to control the position but instead, miller has worked for underhooks and has pushed barker into the cage.
barker wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but miller has him pressed against the cage.
miller gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from barker.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for leeroy barker. That's going to take a lot out of him.

miller manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

barker thows a big elbow that misses.
barker is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

miller has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but barker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

barker moves into full mount! miller won't be happy about that!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
miller is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
leeroy barker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

I would just about give that final round to jason miller.
Well miller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
