Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geoffrey King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerlach Rutger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes to the cage accompanied by King of my Castle by Wamdue Project. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Gerlach Rutger!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rutger.
Rutger is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by King.
Rutger fails with a takedown attempt.
King tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rutger looks to throw the jab but King is out of range.
Rutger will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Geoffrey King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gerlach Rutger.
Rutger shoots in for a takedown but King shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
King smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Gerlach Rutger has been cut.
A slow jab from Rutger misses its intended target.
King lands the left hand.
Rutger throws a looping overhand right but King ducks down to avoid it.
King keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

King drops Rutger with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rutger looks back up at him and smiles so King waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Rutger is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
King drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Rutger right on the button. Rutger goes down! King follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! King gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Geoffrey King!
Geoffrey King retains his light heavyweight title!
