Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andre Romano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oishi Yoshio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoshio has chosen "Stronger" by Kanye West as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andre Romano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Oishi Yoshio! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed right hand from Romano misses the target. Yoshio throws a nice looking combination but Romano bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Romano misses with a looping right. Romano throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Yoshio's head.
It looks like Oishi Yoshio has been cut. Yoshio wants to land a leg kick but Romano is out of range. Romano just misses with a punch to the body.
Romano digs a good body shot into Yoshio's ribs. Romano throws a quick inside leg kick. Romano avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Yoshio moves out of range as Romano throws a body kick.
Romano does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Yoshio throws the kick towards the body but Romano avoids it. Yoshio checks a leg kick. A nice leg kick lands there from Yoshio.
That's one minute gone in the round. Romano throws a head kick but Yoshio moves out of range.
Romano feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Yoshio's calf. Yoshio throws a leg kick but Romano sees it coming and moves out of range. Andre Romano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A bone on bone clash there as Yoshio blocks the leg kick.
Yoshio throws a leg kick and Romano counters with a big head kick but Yoshio shrugs it off. Romano paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Yoshio drops his hands momentarily and Romano takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Romano looks to land a left hand but Yoshio moved out of range nicely. Romano throws a head kick but Yoshio moves out of range.

Romano fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Yoshio looks to land a body kick but Romano moved away. Romano takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Some bone on bone action there as Romano checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Yoshio tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Romano throws a looping overhand right but Yoshio ducks down to avoid it. Yoshio throws a leg kick but Romano sees it coming and moves out of range. A low kick from Yoshio misses and Romano counters with a low kick, right behind Yoshio 's knee. Romano cracks Yoshio with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Yoshio scoring well with a low kick there.
Yoshio scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. This has been an exciting period of action! Romano dodges the ground and pound from Yoshio. Yoshio controlling from side mount. Romano stops Yoshio from passing to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yoshio trying to control the action but Romano is working from the bottom. Romano is looking for a sweep. Yoshio prevents Romano from escaping the position. Romano tries to buck Yoshio off but Yoshio is having none of it. Romano is working hard here to advance position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Romano rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yoshio moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Romano lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Yoshio lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Romano is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Romano lands with a hook. Yoshio tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Yoshio misses with a leg kick and Romano connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Yoshio doesn't manage to clinch there - Romano circles away.
Romano checks the leg kick. Romano ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yoshio moves away. Yoshio scores with a leg kick.
Yoshio thumps Romano with a low kick. Romano takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Yoshio avoids a lazy jab quite easily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Yoshio finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Yoshio misses with a body kick. Yoshio is looking to take this fight into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Andre Romano will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Oishi Yoshio's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Romano throws a looping overhand right but Yoshio ducks down to avoid it. Andre Romano is winning the standup battle so far. Romano misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Romano checks a low kick from Yoshio. Romano throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Yoshio counters with a nice low kick that buckles Romano's knee momentarily. Yoshio tries to clinch but Romano moves away and Romano counters with a thumping low kick. Romano misses with the body kick and Yoshio counters with an outside leg kick.
Romano moves out of range of the leg kick from Yoshio. Yoshio throws a sloppy head kick and Romano moves out of range easily. Yoshio tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Romano is able to avoid easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Romano checks a leg kick. A shot to the body from Romano misses and Yoshio counters with a big head kick but Romano shrugs it off. Yoshio misses with a leg kick and Romano counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's one minute gone in the round. Yoshio takes the fight into the clinch. Yoshio trying to control the position but instead, Romano has worked for underhooks and has pushed Yoshio into the cage. Romano working hard to break the clinch. A hook to the body from Yoshio.
Yoshio scores a nice knee to the body.
Yoshio's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Romano on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Yoshio lands a shot to the body. Yoshio tries to land a knee to the head but Romano blocks with his arms.

Yoshio lands a good knee to the midsection. Romano won't want to take too many of those. Yoshio misses with a knee strike.
Yoshio goes for a takedown attempt but Romano pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Romano throws a head kick that misses and Yoshio makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Romano tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Andre Romano is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A good leg kick by Yoshio. Romano tries a head kick but it misses.
Andre Romano is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Yoshio wants to land a leg kick but Romano is out of range. A jab lands there for Yoshio. A nice inside leg kick there by Yoshio. That's going to slow Romano down. Yoshio scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yoshio throws a body kick the misses and Romano counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Yoshio thinking. Yoshio throws a leg kick that is checked and Romano counters with a three punch combo that has Yoshio backing up. Yoshio nods at Romano to acknowledge the strikes. Romano is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Yoshio misses the shot to the body. Yoshio throws a body punch but Romano moves out of range. Romano tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A jab from Yoshio does it's job there. Yoshio swings away with a leg kick that misses. Romano misses with a leg kick and Yoshio counters with a leg kick. Romano shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. A clash of legs there as Romano blocks the low kick. Romano chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Yoshio can pounce on him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Yoshio is looking to clinch but Romano is avoiding it.

and Yoshio counters with a thumping low kick. Romano drops his hands momentarily and Yoshio takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Yoshio lands with an overhand left. Romano checks a leg kick. A low kick from Yoshio is predictable there and Romano counters with a left and a right that stings Yoshio. Yoshio instigates a clinch. Romano prevents the takedown attempt.

Romano tries to break free but Yoshio pushes him back against the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A battle for position here, against the cage. Yoshio stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Oishi Yoshio showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Oishi Yoshio's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Yoshio postures up and lands a big shot to Romano's brow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Romano looking to hit a scissor sweep but Yoshio is one step ahead there. Yoshio is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Yoshio content to stall in guard here. Romano keeping full guard, as Yoshio tries to pass. Romano keeping moving, preventing Yoshio from controlling successfully. Romano looking for a sweep. Not yet Romano, not yet. Yoshio postures up in Romano's guard and throws a big left but Romano blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Yoshio pushing down on Romano's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Romano keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Yoshio trying to control from half guard but Romano is working away. Romano is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Yoshio pulls his head out easily.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Yoshio tries to score with a low kick but Romano moves his leg out of the way. Yoshio looks to throw a body kick and Romano counters with a slapping leg kick. Romano attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Romano throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Yoshio checks a low kick from Romano. No luck with that takedown attempt from Yoshio.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Yoshio tries a low kick but Romano avoids it. Yoshio throws a push kick but Romano slaps the foot to one side. Romano keeps the fight on the outside. Romano throws a series of strikes that have Yoshio backpedaling.
Both fighters circling a little - Yoshio finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Romano avoids the head kick by Yoshio.
Romano throws a head kick that half lands.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Yoshio, right into the meat.
Yoshio throws a low kick but Romano avoids it. Yoshio closes the distance and clinches up with Romano, looking for a takedown. Yoshio pushes Romano against the cage but Romano circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Yoshio tries to close the distance and clinch but Romano swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Oishi Yoshio. Well Yoshio has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
