Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pimp Pinky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Baroni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baroni has chosen The Balogna Baroni Special as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Pinky misses.
Baroni throws a sloppy head kick and Pinky moves out of range easily.
Pinky misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Pinky tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Joey Baroni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pinky rushes Baroni and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Pinky has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Baroni is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Baroni wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pinky has him pressed against the cage.
Pinky changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Baroni fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Pinky feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round but I would say that Pimp Pinky will probably get the nod.

Pinky has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Baroni has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Baroni manages to stand up with Pinky still on his back. Eventually Pinky drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
