Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cain Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Frischmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Connor Frischmann was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cain Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Connor Frischmann! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frischmann changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Frischmann manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign! Nice sprawl there from Frischmann as Silva shoots in. Frischmann takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Frischmann has Silva up against the cage in a clinch.
Silva wants to get back to striking at distance but Frischmann won't allow it.

Silva throws a big right hand that misses. Frischmann wants to sweep here but Silva controlling him for the moment. Silva would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva preventing the sweep. Frischmann looking to control.
Silva tries to stand but Frischmann is controlling from the bottom. Frischmann is controlling Silva's posture. Silva would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Frischmann fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Silva sprawls well initially but Frischmann persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Frischmann is thwarting Silva's attempts to control the position. Silva trying to get back to full guard but Frischmann takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Silva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Frischmann tries to control but Silva wriggling away. Frischmann throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Silva because Frischmann loaded up on that one. Silva is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frischmann trying to control but Silva is having none of it. Silva is trying desperately to improve position. Silva wants to try and get back to his feet. Silva is looking to improve his position but Frischmann isn't that keen on the idea. Frischmann looking to secure an arm triangle but Silva defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Silva is working to get back to half guard.
Silva is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Silva tries to reverse the position but Frischmann maintains control. Silva wants to control but Frischmann is having none of it. Frischmann trying to control but he's not successful this time. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Silva tries to hold on but Frischmann pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Connor Frischmann dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Frischmann misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Frischmann circles away quickly and effectively. Silva decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Silva is controlling the pace.
Silva seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Frischmann for as long as he can get away with. Frischmann controlling the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frischmann is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silva's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silva's back! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Frischmann keeps control of the position as Silva tries to break free.
Silva looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Frischmann has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Silva. Silva tries to break free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Frischmann is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Silva has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Silva manages to reverse the position and now he's in Frischmann's guard. Nice work there by Silva.
Silva wants to stand and escape but instead Frischmann has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Silva trying to control the position.
Frischmann won't allow Silva to sweep him here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frischmann prevents Silva from getting back to his feet. Frischmann trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Silva has control of Frischmann's left arm, preventing Frischmann from doing any damage. Silva wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Frischmann manages to pass to side control. Silva trying to control here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Frischmann moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Silva throws a right hand that Frischmann ducks under and follows up with a left that Frischmann also avoids with ease. Cain Silva is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Silva lands a right hook to the body.
Frischmann connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Silva lands a nice hook to Frischmann's body. Frischmann takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Frischmann looks for a takedown but Silva sprawls well. Silva throws a right and a left that Frischmann avoids nicely. Frischmann throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Frischmann avoids a punch combination nicely.
Silva stuffs the takedown attempt from Frischmann. Frischmann gets slowly back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Cain Silva will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Silva throws a right and a left that both miss. Cain Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Frischmann misses with a takedown attempt - Silva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Silva misses with a jab, cross combination.
Frischmann gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Silva counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Frischmann slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Silva has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Silva tries to stand but Frischmann is controlling from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Frischmann is trying to keep Silva in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva wants to control from the top but Frischmann keeps moving. Silva wants to stand but Frischmann is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Silva thows a big elbow that misses.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Silva misses with a wild combination.
Frischmann drives through and clinches with Silva against the cage.
Frischmann lands a nice elbow. Frischmann can't get the takedown.
Cain Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Connor Frischmann. Silva wants to break free but Frischmann has control.
Silva tries to break free but Frischmann pushes him back against the cage. Frischmann is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Silva can't fight it off and eventually Frischmann manages to take the fight to the floor. Silva looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Silva wants to get back to his feet but Frischmann is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frischmann throwing strikes from guard but Silva blocks nicely. Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Frischmann on the ground. Frischmann trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom. Frischmann is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Silva looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Silva on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Silva tries to get out of the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Frischmann fails with the takedown and Silva counters with a nice double leg into side control. Frischmann won't be happy with that. Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Frischmann keeps working. Frischmann parries the strikes from Silva easily there. Silva is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Frischmann to escape.
And that's the end of the fight! Cain Silva showed his dominance in that final round. I think Silva has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
