The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finalizador takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Phan drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Phan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Finalizador is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Finalizador has escaped and now he's on top!

Finalizador slips nicely into half guard.
Finalizador wants to stand up but Phan is controlling the position.
Phan throws some strikes from the bottom but Finalizador isn't bothered - he's working on a kimura... it looks tight... it is! Phan is tapping and screaming like a little girl! Ouch, that looks painful! Good win for Finalizador!
