Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uwe Kaputtski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steele comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Crank Dat kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Uwe Kaputtski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jason Steele! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaputtski stuffs the takedown. Steele shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Steele showed some decent athleticism there. Steele looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Steele missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Steele wants to stand up but Kaputtski has a hold of him and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Steele is looking to stall here but Kaputtski recovers full guard. Steele stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kaputtski swivels though and keeps the full guard. Steele wants to control from the top but Kaputtski keeps moving. Steele missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steele thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Steele must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Steele showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kaputtski.
Kaputtski is breathing heavily. Kaputtski throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kaputtski throws a series of punches but Steele moves out of range. Steele closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Steele trying to control the action but Kaputtski is working from the bottom. Kaputtski avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Steele. Steele trying to control the pace. Steele is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kaputtski is on top in guard.
Kaputtski pushing down on Steele's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Steele wants to improve his position but Kaputtski is controlling well.
Kaputtski is taking a breather. Steele says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kaputtski prevents Steele from improving his position. Steele throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steele tries to roll over but Kaputtski keeps him under control. Steele controlling the position for now. Steele has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kaputtski is working away from the top position though.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Steele throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kaputtski's waist but Kaputtski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Steele off to one side. No luck for Steele with that takedown attempt. Uwe Kaputtski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Steele. Steele will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Steele closes the distance and clinches. Steele lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Steele shoots in and drives through. Kaputtski sprawls well. Steele shoots for a takedown but Kaputtski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A left and a right from Kaputtski both land. Nice combination. Steele closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Steele jumps guard but Kaputtski stands there with Steele around his waist. Steele gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Steele keeps control of Kaputtski as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kaputtski wants to control but Steele postures up. Steele is looking to take a break and control but Kaputtski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kaputtski being controlled for a moment. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Steele decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kaputtski to his feet.

Steele looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Steele content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Kaputtski keeps control of the position for the meantime. Ground and pound from Steele. Steele is trying to control the action in half guard but Kaputtski is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaputtski keeping control of the position. Steele is stalling here. Kaputtski is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Steele seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kaputtski has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Steele can't do much from the bottom here. Kaputtski decides to stand up, so the ref orders Steele to his feet. Kaputtski tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Steele lands with a slapping head kick.
Kaputtski is rocked! Kaputtski throws a lazy right hand but Steele sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Oh Kaputtski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Steele lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Kaputtski crumples to the floor! Steele milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
