Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Suda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bodalicious Smithers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suda's entrance music is I will survive. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suda looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Suda changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smithers tries to avoid it but Suda manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smithers to the ground. Smithers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Suda dodges the punch combination from Smithers.
Suda avoids the body shot from Smithers.

Suda scores with a takedown into Smithers's guard.
Smithers is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Smithers looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Suda might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Smithers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Suda swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Suda goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Smithers rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Suda's guard! Nice work there by Smithers!
Suda is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Suda thows a huge punch but Smithers dodges it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Suda fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Smithers sprawls well initially but Suda persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Suda lands a nice short elbow.
Smithers tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Smithers makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Smithers.
Smithers wants to sweep here but Suda controlling him for the moment.
Suda lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Suda throws a strike but Smithers avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Suda shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Smithers pinned against the cage. Smithers gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Smithers misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Jonathan Suda overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Suda tries to stand and escape but Smithers is controlling the position.
Smithers is trying to stand up here but Suda is controlling him well.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Suda feints and as Smithers raises his hands in defense, Suda changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Suda wants to pass the guard but Smithers is keeping the position.
Smithers wants to hit a switch here but Suda passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Smithers there!
Smithers is in all sorts of trouble here.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Smithers is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Suda bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Smithers's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Smithers throws and elbow that misses. Suda uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Smithers's guard. Nice move by Suda!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Suda, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
