The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro has closed the distance and engaged Vieri in a clinch.
Ribeiro could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ribeiro manages to break the clinch.
Ribeiro fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Vieri sprawls well initially but Ribeiro persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
