Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Trent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes into a darkened arena with his song building. intro to abnoimation kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Trent on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Trent tries to get out of the position.

Silva is nestled in close to Trent, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thiago Silva dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Silva fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Trent avoids it really well and circles away.
Trent works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Silva keeps the fight on the outside.
Trent throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Trent drops Silva with a beautiful combination! Silva stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Trent is looking for the KO!
It looks like Thiago Silva has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Trent connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Silva tumbling to the canvas! Trent pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Silva was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jason Trent!
