The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast lands a glancing blow to the side of l's head.
l shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Beast sprawls well. Beast wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. l gets slowly back to his feet.
Beast connects with the punch.
l shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than l was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
l pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
It looks like Marcus Beast has been cut.
l is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Beast goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for l!
