Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeffrey Gill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Billons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gill's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Welcome to the Jungle. Jeffrey Gill could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to David Billons's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jeffrey Gill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Billons! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Billons shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Billons was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Billons trying to control but Gill is having none of it. Gill is working to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gill is working hard here to advance position. Billons really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gill. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gill tries to hold on but Billons pushes him away. Gill really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Billons trying to control but Gill is having none of it. Gill sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Gill tries to get to full guard but Billons has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Gill missing with punches from the bottom.

Gill tries to get to full guard but Billons has control of the leg. Gill regains full guard. Nicely done. Gill is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gill tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gill has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Billons can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gill has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Billons is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gill. Gill is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Billons is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Gill is pressing down on Billons's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Gill is trying to keep Billons in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gill is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Billons seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jeffrey Gill will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Gill shoots and misses so Billons counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Billons preventing the sweep. Gill working a defensive guard here.
Billons stops Gill from standing up. Gill working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Billons doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Billons manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Gill bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Billons's guard. Gill stands and steps away. Billons gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Billons smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Billons looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Gill! Gill working to try and regain half guard.

Gill is looking to get to half guard. Gill throwing hammer fists to the chest of Billons. What's that going to do exactly? Gill tries to hold on but Billons pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Gill tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gill slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Gill slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Billons wants to pass the guard but Gill is keeping the position. Gill is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gill has his foot on Billons's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Billons works his way back into a safe position though. Gill is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gill is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Billons is aware though and is defending well. Gill trying to keep a closed guard but Billons is proving a slippery customer.
Gill looking to hit a scissor sweep but Billons is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Gill is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Billons wants to stand but Gill has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Gill keeping full guard, as Billons tries to pass. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gill is on top in guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Billons can do anything to dispel that myth. Gill advances position into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jeffrey Gill will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Gill with a poor takedown and Billons counters with a shoot takedown. Gill fights it but they end up in guard. Gill looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Gill looking for a guillotine here but Billons defends easily.
Gill controls Billons momentarily but Billons frees himself. Billons trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Billons got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gill has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Billons has managed to get both his arms back between Gill's legs - danger averted. Gill looking to control.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gill is on top in guard.
Billons keeping full guard, as Gill tries to pass. Billons pulls Gill in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Billons wants to get back to his feet but Gill is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Gill trying to control the position from guard on top but Billons is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gill drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Billons manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gill has Billons in his guard. Billons controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gill looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jeffrey Gill is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Billons must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Billons trying to control but Gill is working from the bottom. Gill manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Gill takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Billons is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Billons is looking to get to half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gill controlling from mount.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to David Billons. I think Gill has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
