Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between ben wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Onng The Survivor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, ben wells! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Onng The Survivor! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! wells blocks a head kick by The Survivor.
wells wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. wells shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts The Survivor as he jumps to the side. The Survivor swings and misses with a shot to the body and wells counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The Survivor is looking to get back to is feet but wells passes into side control.
wells lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear The Survivor down.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. wells creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. wells has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. wells controls the position. The Survivor is not in a great position here, taking some shots. The Survivor taking a bit of punishment here - wells scoring with strikes. wells wants to lay and pray for a moment but The Survivor keeps working. wells controlling the position from side mount. The Survivor takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. wells controls the position from side control. wells cracks The Survivor with a big right hand but The Survivor just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The Survivor tries to escape but wells is in control. The Survivor is letting wells control him for a moment. wells lands a decent elbow from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. wells slows the pace down. wells cracks The Survivor with a big elbow. The Survivor is not in a great position here, taking some shots. The Survivor trying to remain calm as wells controls from the top position. wells has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. wells working the ground and pound. The Survivor wants to get back to his feet. wells is chipping away with strikes.
wells working the head with strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! wells working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's three minutes gone in the round. wells lands a few punches from side control. wells scores with a couple of short elbows. The Survivor is not content to let wells control the position. The Survivor wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. wells controls the position. The Survivor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with wells. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The Survivor is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, wells asserts his dominance and retains side control. wells tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no wells has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Survivor takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. The Survivor wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! wells wants to lay and pray for a moment but The Survivor keeps working. The Survivor takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. wells landing strikes. wells trying to control the position but The Survivor is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
ben wells dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from wells. The Survivor is looking to clinch. The Survivor blocks a jab. The Survivor stuffs the takedown attempt from wells. wells gets slowly back to his feet. wells moves out of range of the body kick from The Survivor.
The Survivor is looking to take this fight into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Survivor displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as wells throws out the jab. wells circles away from the clinch attempt and wells counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for The Survivor!
That's one minute gone in the round. wells lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
wells lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The Survivor is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
wells in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The referee warns The Survivor that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
wells unloads with some vicious shots from mount and The Survivor wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! wells celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). ben wells!
