Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yoshihiro Jung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilkins has chosen New Noise as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshihiro Jung! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Wilkins! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jung drops his hands momentarily and Wilkins takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Yoshihiro Jung has been cut. Jung misses with a double jab.
Wilkins throws a series of punches but Jung moves out of range. Jung tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wilkins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jung somewhat. Some wild striking there from Wilkins.

No luck for Jung with that takedown attempt. Jung could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jung shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wilkins as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yoshihiro Jung. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wilkins throws a jab but it's blocked by Jung. Jung looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wilkins misses with a few strikes there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jung stalks Wilkins and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wilkins's face. Wilkins staggers backwards, shaken. Wilkins scores with a three punch combo!

and Wilkins connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wilkins throws a right hand that Jung ducks under and follows up with a left that Jung also avoids with ease. Jung looks to land a combination but Wilkins avoids it well. Wilkins scores with a jab to the head.
Jung tries to close the distance and clinch but Wilkins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Wilkins throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jung on the side of the head.
Yoshihiro Jung's cut is getting worse. Jung is breathing heavily. Wilkins waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Jung. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Jung to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Jung is rocked! Jung looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Wilkins puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilkins stands up from half guard. Wilkins swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jung fails with a takedown attempt. Wilkins getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Wilkins swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jung counters with a series of strikes. Wilkins will be more careful next time no doubt. Wilkins throws a series of punches but Jung avoids them all with ease. Wilkins lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Wilkins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jung moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Wilkins throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilkins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jung. Wilkins tests Jung's chin there with a solid looking shot. Nice sprawl there from Wilkins as Jung shoots in. Wilkins fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Yoshihiro Jung's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Wilkins misses with a double jab
and Jung counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wilkins won't be happy with that. Wilkins is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jung has just dragged him back down to the mat. Jung in side control, throwing shots but Wilkins defends. Wilkins avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Jung. Wilkins is pushing Jung's head away, looking to escape. Jung manages to hold on to the position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jung scoring with punches from side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A big right from Wilkins misses. Wilkins looks to land a combination but Jung avoids it well. Jung shoots in and drives through. Wilkins sprawls well. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wilkins connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jung's hands. Wilkins throws a right and a left that Jung avoids nicely. Jung tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wilkins swivels and escapes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Wilkins dominated that round. The cut man is working on Yoshihiro Jung's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Jung counters with a shoot takedown. Wilkins fights it but they end up in guard. Wilkins wriggles free and stands up. Wilkins throws a series of punches but Jung avoids them all with ease.

The fighters circle momentarily. Jung darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Wilkins lands with a nice body punch. Wilkins lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jung circles away quickly and effectively. Wilkins throws a wild combination but nothing lands. David Wilkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jung rushes Wilkins and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Jung leaning against his opponent.
Jung letting Wilkins take a breather here. Jung drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wilkins pulls his leg out and moves away.

Jung rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wilkins moves out of range and avoids them all easily. No luck with that takedown attempt from Jung. Wilkins misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jung bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Wilkins swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jung shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jung was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Jung lands a heavy elbow. Poor strikes thrown by Jung there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Wilkins sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Wilkins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jung is working away from the top position though. Jung looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Wilkins avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jung. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Yoshihiro Jung will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Yoshihiro Jung's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Wilkins scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Wilkins goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Jung scores with a jab. Jung throws a nice looking combination but Wilkins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Wilkins stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wilkins wants it to stay on the feet. Wilkins swinging wilding here.
