Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henrick Sizewell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Carbide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sizewell comes to the cage accompanied by Cult of Personality. Carbide comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Raised In The Projects kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carbide uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sizewell.
Sizewell moves in looking to clinch but Carbide pushes him off.
Sizewell tries to move into range but Carbide moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Carbide shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Carbide showed some decent athleticism there.
Sizewell throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Sizewell regains full guard. Nicely done.
Carbide distracts Sizewell with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Sizewell keeping moving, preventing Carbide from controlling successfully.
Sizewell working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Carbide.
Sizewell wants to stand but Carbide is controlling the position.
Carbide looking to pass the guard.
Carbide really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sizewell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Carbide postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Carbide trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Sizewell trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Sizewell has his hands on Carbide's head, controlling the position.
Carbide is looking to stand up but Sizewell won't let him.
Carbide wants to control from the top but Sizewell keeps moving.
Carbide has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sizewell is proving hard to escape from.

Sizewell manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Sizewell tries to clinch there but Carbide circles away.
Henrick Sizewell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sizewell swings widly with a right hand
and Carbide counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sizewell fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sizewell with a poor takedown
and Carbide counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Carbide connects with a crisp jab.
Carbide connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Sizewell takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Sizewell is breathing heavily.

Sizewell throws a poor cross that misses
and Carbide cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Carbide misses with a double jab.
Sizewell misses with a combination

and Carbide counters with a single leg into guard. Sizewell didn't expect that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sizewell is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Carbide throwing strikes but missing.
Carbide pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sizewell is keeping the position for now.
Sizewell looking to hit a scissor sweep but Carbide is one step ahead there.
Carbide must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Carbide won't allow Sizewell to get back to his feet.
Carbide wants to pass the guard but Sizewell is keeping the position.
Sizewell is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sizewell manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Carbide manages to get himself to full guard.

Sizewell gets to his feet. Carbide looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Sizewell has his takedown stuffed
enabling Carbide to counter with a crisp jab.
Sizewell doesn't manage to clinch there - Carbide circles away.
Sizewell shoots in but Carbide avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henrick Sizewell. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sizewell throws a left and a right that both miss
and Carbide counters with a series of strikes. Sizewell will be more careful next time no doubt.
Sizewell falls off balance throwing a combination
and Carbide cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Carbide throws a big shot that misses.

Carbide circles away from the clinch attempt.
Oooh a lovely combination from Sizewell sends Carbide down but not out. Sizewell dives into side control looking to finish.

Sizewell decides to stand up, so the ref orders Carbide to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sizewell takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Carbide sends Sizewell crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Carbide is motioning to the referee to let Sizewell up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Sizewell is rocked!
Sizewell throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Oh Sizewell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sizewell swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Carbide counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Sizewell! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Carbide!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Viktor Carbide!
