Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Taldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jensen Dayley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jose Taldo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jensen Dayley! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taldo throws a right hand that Dayley ducks under and follows up with a left that Dayley also avoids with ease. Dayley drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Dayley passes into half guard. Dayley prevents Taldo from standing back up.
Dayley scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Taldo wants to get back to his feet.
Dayley escapes and gets back to his feet. Taldo lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Taldo. Taldo misses with a series of wild punches.
Taldo is breathing heavily. Taldo looks to land a combination but Dayley avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taldo throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Dayley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Dayley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Taldo pinned against the cage. Taldo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Taldo throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Taldo throws a front kick aimed at Dayley's knee but Dayley avoids it well. Dayley throws a shot from downtown. Taldo moves away and avoids it. Dayley shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Dayley decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Taldo looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Jose Taldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dayley throws a head kick that half lands.
Taldo stuffs the takedown attempt from Dayley. Dayley gets slowly back to his feet. Dayley shoots in for a double leg but Taldo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jose Taldo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jensen Dayley.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dayley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Taldo avoids it really well and circles away. Dayley avoids a punch combination nicely.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dayley.
Dayley connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Dayley, right into the meat.

Taldo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taldo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Taldo takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Dayley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Taldo tries to avoid it but Dayley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Taldo to the ground. Taldo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dayley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Taldo works over Dayley's head and body with a nice combination. Good leg kick by Dayley there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dayley moves into the clinch. Taldo is pressed up against the cage. Dayley has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Taldo down to the mat. Taldo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Dayley throws a head kick that misses. Taldo tries to bum rush Dayley with a series of wild strikes but Dayley uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dayley moves into the clinch. Dayley pulls guard. Taldo won't allow Dayley to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dayley pulls Taldo in close to prevent any damage. Dayley controls Taldo momentarily but Taldo frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dayley manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Dayley landing strikes from the mount and Taldo is in trouble! Dayley gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jensen Dayley dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Taldo takes a head kick and keeps coming.
A jab from Taldo does it's job there. The fight moves into the clinch position. Taldo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Taldo tries to break the clinch but Dayley is controlling the position. Dayley pulls guard. Dayley pushes Taldo off and gets back to his feet.
Jose Taldo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dayley wants to clinch up but Taldo keeps it at a distance. Dayley rushes Taldo and presses him up against the cage. Dayley pulls Taldo into guard.
Taldo trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dayley's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taldo being controlled here momentarily. Dayley is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Dayley works his way into full mount! Dayley sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dayley is landing with some decent strikes but Taldo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dayley lands a heavy elbow. Dayley content just to control the position here. Dayley takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dayley gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Dayley biding his time, looking for the opening.
Let's hope that Dayley has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Taldo preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Dayley.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Taldo defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Dayley's arms. Dayley just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Taldo is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Dayley gets his way!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jensen Dayley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Taldo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Taldo swinging wilding here.

Dayley works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Dayley stands and steps away. Taldo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Dayley is trying hard to land a takedown here. Taldo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. A head kick by Taldo misses and Dayley counters with a nice double leg into side control. Taldo won't be happy with that. Dayley slows the pace down. Jensen Dayley has got the better of the ground game so far. Taldo is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The ground and pound from Dayley seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taldo is working to avoid the ground and pound but Dayley connects with a decent elbow. Taldo is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Taldo is looking to get back to his feet here but Dayley is keeping cool and he's managed to take Taldo's back. Dayley is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dayley lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Dayley really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Taldo. Dayley patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Taldo holding both Dayley 's hands and preventing any damage. Dayley gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dayley just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
