Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michal Budzyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Conrad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conrad throws a lazy right hand but Budzyn sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Budzyn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Conrad swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Carl Conrad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Budzyn slips a straight right by Conrad.
Conrad throws a hook to the side of Budzyn's head but Budzyn sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Budzyn shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Conrad defends it nicely.
Conrad missing with a left hand there. Budzyn was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Budzyn throws a leg kick but Conrad moved away.
Budzyn closes the distance and clinches up with Conrad, looking for a takedown. Budzyn pushes Conrad against the cage but Conrad circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Budzyn walks into a stiff left hand from Conrad.

It looks like Michal Budzyn has been cut.
Budzyn shoots in and drives through. Conrad sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michal Budzyn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Conrad loads up on a big right hand but Budzyn slips the punch.
Budzyn throws a right and a left that Conrad avoids nicely.

Conrad throws a hook to the side of Budzyn's head but Budzyn sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Budzyn lands with a nice combination. Conrad backs away looking to recover.
Conrad fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Budzyn manages to avoid it.

Conrad drops Budzyn with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Budzyn looks back up at him and smiles so Conrad waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Budzyn is breathing heavily.
Conrad takes a swing at Budzyn's ribcage but misses.

Conrad sends Budzyn crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Conrad is motioning to the referee to let Budzyn up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Budzyn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Michal Budzyn's cut is getting worse.

Conrad throws a big shot that misses.
Conrad misses with a hook. Budzyn ducked under it nicely.
Budzyn seems to have got his legs back now.
Conrad throws a jab when Budzyn was well out of range.

Conrad feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Budzyn sprawling to the canvas! Budzyn rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Conrad finish him?!
Conrad cracks Budzyn with a left hook right on the temple and Budzyn goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Conrad lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Budzyn is OK!
