Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronald Murvis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doe has chosen whatsername, and does she remember my name? as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronald Murvis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Doe!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murvis takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Doe throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Doe cracks a nice hook into Murvis's ribs.
Jon Doe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Murvis tries to bum rush Doe with a series of wild strikes but Doe uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Doe bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Murvis's head.
Murvis swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Doe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Murvis throws out the jab.

Murvis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Doe.
Doe throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Murvis stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

You get the feeling that Murvis really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Murvis is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Murvis is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Murvis can't escape the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Murvis really wants to buck Doe off and get back to his feet.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jon Doe just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Murvis throws a predictable looking body shot
and Doe counters with a low kick, right behind Murvis 's knee.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

It looks like Ronald Murvis has been cut.

and Doe makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Murvis is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Doe dives into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Doe is staying tight to Murvis's torso, preventing him from escaping.
You can see the frustration on Murvis's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Murvis is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Murvis trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Doe has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Murvis's body.
You can see the frustration on Murvis's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Murvis swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Doe throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Jon Doe seems to be getting the better of the standup.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Murvis takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Doe bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
A lull in the action here as Doe stalls from top position.
Doe's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Let's hope that Doe has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Murvis throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

Jon Doe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Doe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
