The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nishiura misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Nishiura tries to close the distance and clinch up but Imanari swats him away and circles back towards the center.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nishiura wants to slow Imanari down by chopping away at his legs.
Imanari looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Imanari is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nishiura is just riding it out for now. Imanari eventually gives up the hold.
Imanari works his way into side control.
Imanari in side control, throwing shots but Nishiura defends.
Imanari has hold of Nishiura's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Nishiura seems comfortable defending it but Imanari has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Nishiura is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Nishiura is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Imanari couldn't care less - he's delighted!
