Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between ced ben (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Fertit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fertit has chosen Roots Bloody Roots as his entrance music. ced ben has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, ced ben!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dante Fertit!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ben gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

It looks like ced ben has been cut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fertit is defended easily by ben.
Fertit will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
ben tries to close the distance and clinch but Fertit swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

ben tries to keep at a distance but Fertit has taken the fight into the clinch.
Fertit managing to block the knees to the body from ben.
ben with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Fertit is trying to trip ben. He has hold of a leg but ben is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Fertit persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Fertit wants to control from the top but ben keeps moving.
Fertit working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Fertit is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! ben is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! ben has escaped and now he's on top!

Fertit is looking for a triangle but ben pushes his legs off easily.

Fertit had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. ben defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

ben is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Fertit has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. ben is looking to defend but Fertit has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for ben! Fertit pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, ben taps out and this one is all over!
