Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yoshi Matsazuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinto Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Shinto Rage enters the ring!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rage fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Matsazuki fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Matsazuki drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Matsazuki thows a big elbow that misses.
Rage avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Matsazuki throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rage works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Matsazuki has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rage is proving hard to escape from.
Rage manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Matsazuki manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Rage drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rage jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rage got a little sloppy there for a moment and Matsazuki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rage has managed to get both his arms back between Matsazuki's legs - danger averted.

Matsazuki is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rage is aware though and is defending well.
Rage seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Rage is trying to land a reversal but Matsazuki doesn't like that idea too much. He pushed the legs to the side and dives into side control. He's managed to grab a loose arm triangle. Matsazuki is tightening it up though! This could be trouble for Rage! Rage trying desperately to escape but he's gone limp! He's out! Wooooorld class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from Matsazuki!
