Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barney Stinson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jackson McMillan! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stinson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Barney Stinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stinson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. McMillan is trying hard to land a takedown here. Stinson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. McMillan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Stinson throws a right hand that McMillan ducks under and follows up with a left that McMillan also avoids with ease. Stinson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. McMillan drops back looking for a leg! Stinson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stinson manages to kick McMillan off! McMillan jumps back into Stinson's guard. McMillan wants to pass the guard but Stinson is keeping the position. McMillan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stinson's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stinson is staying active underneath McMillan, who seems content to just control the action from this position. McMillan is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Stinson has managed to free his arm - good work. McMillan frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. McMillan working for a guillotine from mount but Stinson is in no mood to give up. McMillan throws some wild stikes that Stinson manages to avoid easily.
McMillan working Stinson over with strikes here. Stinson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McMillan looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. McMillan wants to finish this one by submission but Stinson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from McMillan. McMillan looks gassed! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McMillan fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
McMillan working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Stinson turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips McMillan off and cradles Stinson's limp body as McMillan celebrates with his corner.
